Young people

Due to the popularity of all of the sections, applications to join have to be submitted via the Group Scout Leader who (along with an admission team) decide on suitable numbers so that no section becomes overloaded.

Please drop me an email via 9thbangorscoutgroup@gmail.com and we will come back to you as soon as possible with an answer or some advice on which other groups you could contact if we are oversubscribed.

Adult Volunteers

We are always glad to hear from adults wanting to volunteer to help in any way with the group.

We have vacancies in the following areas:

• Executive Committee Members 

• Group Supporters

• Assistant Leaders in Scouts, Cub Scouts, Beaver Scouts and Squirrels

• Fundraisers – special events or long-term strategy

• Quartermaster (male or female – don’t be put off by the name!) – to look after our camping equipment, tents, group resources, etc.

• Membership Secretary

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated by the young people and the adult volunteers!
